Government is more visible than ever today as the leader and crucial partner of initiatives that are vital to the diverse community it serves. Whatever form government takes, effective performance is what increasingly emphasizes. Government sees itself as a benchmark, not just pushing for change but also exemplifying how it can be attained. As life grows more mobile, the government workforce is changing. As the role of the public sector expands, there is a growing need for modern, high performance building to house government employees and provide them with the technology-supported workplace they require to do their work.

Norrasid led Gensler Thailand team in collaboration with Gensler Singapore in the concept design of Ho Chi Minh City Administrative Center. Although project required a very dense program Gross Floor Area (GFA), we wanted to be respectful to the existing historic City Hall building, so the new structure will be nearly hidden when viewing from the Nguyen Hue walking street. The new administrative center will not only be a highly efficient and sustainable building, but the quality of spaces indoor and outdoor will give visitors and workers a whole new experience.
