This is a house for a family of three. Our design solutions address all the family lifestyle needs. One of the challenges clients give us is to create a 100% privacy barrier from the neighboring houses to the East and West side, while still getting plenty of day-light, seasonal wind, and view. We solve these issues by using a shell-like structure enveloping the entire house, which not only allow both indoor and outdoor deck areas to be completely private, but also help to control the heat again from direct sunlight. The final outcome is a perfect blend between functionality and sustainability.
