Natural ventilation is very crucial for a house design in a hot and humid climate. With this project, we ensured that the layouts flow with seasonal wind directions and allow air to move through space quickly. Meanwhile, we wanted the interior space to be very bright and open with plenty of view to greenery, but at the same time minimized the heat gain by only allow certain areas to get penetrated with direct sun light. We tried to blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor. The central court yard and garden are easily accessible from spaces around it with operable glass walls.
